Hard Transition
The NiSi Cinema 4x5.65" Hard IR GND filters are characterized by a hard transition (quick change from light to dark) and are used when the transition between bright and dark areas is straight and flat. A classic example is shooting a desert landscape.
True-to-Life Colors
The NiSi GND filters do not affect the color of the image, offer true-to-life colors, and are made from high-quality optical Schott glass with a multi-layer nano-coating to ensure the preservation of every detail.
Infrared Coating
When using neutral density filters, the camera can become susceptible to infrared light, which can cause an unwanted red color cast on photos at small apertures.
