The NiSi S6 filter holder is an outstanding tool for wide-angle lenses with a conical design. It is perfect for landscape photography or any scenario where a wide-angle lens is needed. The holder accommodates two slot-in filters and includes an integrated, rotatable polarizer that can be easily adjusted.
The S6 filter holder is compatible with 150x150mm and 150x170mm filters with a 2mm thickness and offers no vignetting—an important advantage. Additionally, the holder features an improved filter locking wheel, ensuring easy and secure filter insertion. The 360° rotation of the polarizer gives you full control over the polarization plane.
Made from high-quality CNC-machined aviation-grade aluminum, the S6 filter holder is durable and built to last. It also includes a lens cap to protect the holder and a carrying case to safely and conveniently transport your S6 kit.
For most wide-angle lenses with a conical design, a separately available adapter ring in 82mm and 77mm is available. This means you can also use the S6 filter holder with your standard lenses. Additionally, a special "105mm/95mm/82mm" mount is available for Hasselblad lenses and high-powered telephoto lenses.
Usage and Installation
The NiSi S6 system is a professional filter system for photographers and videographers, offering a variety of filters and holders to optimize image quality. It is particularly suited for landscape photography and videography, helping to capture stunning shots in bright or uneven lighting conditions.
A highlight of the NiSi S6 system is the integrated True Color Polarizer, which reduces reflections and glare on surfaces like water, glass, and other shiny materials. This enhances image clarity and brings out more vivid and true-to-life colors. The NiSi S6 system is easy to install and use. The special holder attaches to the front of the lens, allowing filters to be quickly and easily inserted or swapped to adapt to different lighting conditions.
