Frequently asked questions about the JetMag Pro size finder

Where do I find the filter thread size of my lens?
The thread size is printed on the front of the lens around the front element or inside the lens cap, usually with the symbol Ø, for example “Ø 77 mm”. Select this number in the size finder.
My lenses have different thread sizes. What should I do?
Simply select all thread sizes in the finder. You use one system for all your lenses: for each thread size you screw on a matching JetMag Pro adapter ring, and the filters then attach magnetically. Smaller threads without their own adapter ring are connected with a step-up ring. The finder shows you which rings you need.
What is the difference between an adapter ring and a step-up ring?
The adapter ring is the magnetic base: it screws into the filter thread, and the JetMag Pro filters snap onto it and lock in place. A step-up ring enlarges a smaller thread to a larger one, for example from 72 to 77 mm. This way a lens with a smaller thread also fits your existing adapter ring.
My lens has no filter thread. Is there still a solution?
Yes, with MAXMAG. For ultra-wide lenses with a bulbous front element there are dedicated adapters, for example for the Canon RF 14 mm F1.4 L, the Sony FE 14 mm F1.8 GM, the Nikon Z F2.8 zooms and the Olympus 7–14 mm F2.8. Select “no thread” in the finder and then your lens. If it isn’t listed, send us a short message and we’ll check the fit.
Can I combine several filters?
Yes. All JetMag Pro filters of a system can be stacked magnetically, for example an ND filter with a polariser. You can combine two filters down to 15 mm focal length without vignetting.
