The NiSi Cinema 4x5.65" Hard IR GND is a graduated neutral density filter that darkens bright areas of the image, such as the sky, while the rest of the image remains unchanged.
Hard Transition
The NiSi Cinema 4x5.65" Hard IR GND filters are characterized by a hard transition (quick change from light to dark) and are used when the transition between light and dark areas is straight and flat. A classic example is shooting a desert landscape.
True-to-Life Colors
The NiSi GND filters do not affect the color rendering of the image, offer true-to-life colors, and are made from high-quality optical Schott glass with multi-layer nano-coating to ensure the preservation of every single detail.
Infrared Coating
When using neutral density filters, the camera can become susceptible to infrared light, which can cause an unwanted red cast on photos at small apertures. The NiSi GND filters feature an infrared protection coating that blocks infrared light through the lens, ensuring natural, lifelike color reproduction.
