Note: The NiSi Athena Prime lenses with E-mount and drop-in filters are not compatible with the Sony FX9 and DJI Ronin 4D. For these camera models, the NiSi Athena Prime lenses with E-mount must be used without drop-in filters!

The lenses were developed for full-frame cameras with an image circle of 46 mm in order to make optimum use of the entire sensor surface and offer high image quality right up to the edges - ideal for high-resolution full-frame cameras.

Drop-in filter

Another special feature of the NiSi Athena Prime Cinema lenses is the integration of drop-in filters in the E-, RF- and L-mount versions (PL-mount is equipped with a rear filter holder). This innovative filter solution enables filmmakers to insert ND or Vario ND filters directly into the lens without having to change the front lens. This speeds up the filter change and at the same time reduces the risk of dust and dirt on the lens.
