The NiSi Swift True Color VND Kit 1-9 Stops consists of a NiSi True Color 1-5 Stop VND and an ND16 (4 Stop) ND filter, which can be combined in a range of 1 to 9 stops - making this set one of the most versatile variable ND kits on the market.

True Color ND-Vario 1-5 Stops

The NiSi True Color ND-Vario 1-5 Stops offers an exposure reduction of 1 to 5 stops. The density of 0.3 to 1.5 results in a darkening of the entire image, allowing for larger apertures or slower shutter speeds than usual. The degree of density is easily adjusted by rotating the front filter ring with or without the included silver lever, which allows the additional exposure time to be determined in advance. 

By slowing down the exposure time or enlarging the aperture, the depth of field can be controlled and motion can be rendered clearly. The transition of density is smooth, allowing the photographer or videographer to precisely adjust the exposure time to the requirements of a particular scene. For easy and repeatable control of the density settings, the front ring is marked with numbers representing the different aperture values. The ring is knurled on the sides to ensure a secure grip and to facilitate attachment and removal. 

SWIFT FS ND16 – 4 Stops

The ND16 (4 Stops) is designed for the NiSi SWIFT System. It can be attached to the True Color Vario-ND 1-5 to obtain a 5-9 Stops TC V-ND filter or used with a SWIFT Adapter Ring to reduce exposure by 4 stops. 

Full Spectrum Coating

The color neutrality is maintained as the Swift ND16 has a Full Spectrum Coating. The Full Spectrum Coating from NiSi is a special coating technology applied to their filters. This coating offers a broader range of light transmission than conventional coatings, meaning that light can pass through the filter in a wider spectrum.

High-Quality Optical Schott Glass

Like the rest of the NiSi range, this filter is made from high-quality, precision-annealed optical glass. Its surface is finely ground and polished to ensure sharpness for today's high-resolution cameras.

NiSi Multi-Layer Nano Coating

Our proprietary NiSi Multi-Layer Nano Coating helps reduce unwanted reflections and provides a waterproof and scratch-resistant layer that makes cleaning unwanted fingerprints, dust, and water stains easier.
