The NiSi JetMag Pro Natural Night (MAXMAG) is a filter specially developed for night photography that specifically reduces disturbing artificial light sources. Mercury and sodium vapor lamps in particular, as well as street lamps with a low colour rendering index, produce undesirable wavelengths of light that brighten the night sky and reduce contrast. The filter blocks precisely these light components, reduces the incident light by around one f-stop and ensures that stars, the sky and night-time landscapes are reproduced more clearly and naturally.
Optimized for night, astro and architectural photography
The NiSi JetMag Pro Natural Night (MAXMAG) preserves the natural color balance of night shots and prevents color casts caused by artificial lighting. This makes the filter particularly suitable for astrophotography, nocturnal cityscapes and architectural photography, where a clear sky and clean contrasts are crucial. Filmmakers also benefit from visibly improved image quality when shooting video at night.
Magnetic JetMag Pro MaxMag filter system
The NiSi JetMag Pro MaxMag system is a magnetic filter system that has been specially developed for extreme wide-angle lenses without a front filter thread. The precisely tuned magnetic mechanism enables the filter to be attached and removed quickly and securely without tilting or readjustment. Several filters can be combined on top of each other without vignetting occurring - even at very short focal lengths. The robust metal housing, compact design and magnetic front and rear caps make the system ideal for mobile use in demanding outdoor conditions.
