The NiSi JetMag Pro NC UV (MAXMAG) filter was developed to effectively absorb ultraviolet light and thus significantly reduce the typical blue cast in daylight images. It intervenes specifically in the UV range without changing the natural color rendition or the contrast of the image. There is no need to adjust the exposure, which makes the filter particularly easy to use on a daily basis - for both photo and video recordings.
Precise UV reduction for natural colors
The NiSi JetMag Pro NC UV (MAXMAG) absorbs around 50 percent of UV light waves at 395 nanometers and gradually eliminates them before they reach the camera sensor. This limits the incident light to the visible spectrum, resulting in clear, neutral color reproduction throughout the image. Especially when shooting in bright daylight, in the mountains or on the coast, this ensures visibly more realistic colors without unwanted blue tones.
High-quality materials and JetMag Pro MaxMag system
Like all NiSi filters, the NiSi JetMag Pro NC UV (MAXMAG) is made of high-quality, precision-annealed optical Schott glass. The finely ground and polished surface ensures high sharpness performance and is optimally matched to modern high-resolution cameras. The glass is complemented by the NiSi multi-layer nano-coating, which minimizes reflections and provides a water and scratch-resistant surface, making it easy to remove fingerprints, dust and water marks.
