The NiSi HUC CPL filter reduces reflections and glare by filtering polarized light reflected from non-metallic surfaces.
Natural sunlight is partially polarized when it is reflected by electrons in air molecules, making it appear like a kind of haze. The polarization filter arranges and filters this directed polarized light perpendicular to the reflected light, absorbing a large portion of this light. This significantly reduces glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and increases the saturation of the sky and foliage.
