Nisi Circular Starter Kit (82mm)
The NiSi Circular Starter Kit includes two of our most popular circular filters, the HUC UV Filter and the HUC CPL Filter. The kit is an excellent addition to a new lens and also includes a circular filter pouch and a microfiber cloth.
HUC UV
The ultra-thin HUC UV filters from NiSi use a multi-layer nano-coating with high-quality optical glass that absorbs ultraviolet radiation. This guarantees high light transmission and an extremely smooth surface that prevents unnecessary reflections.
The use of high-quality optical glass not only ensures high light transmission but also minimizes vignetting effects with wide-angle lenses. The frame is made of precision-milled brass and is manufactured in an elaborate production process.
The NiSi HUC UV Filter features an exclusive creative U-shaped nano-coating and a hardened water-repellent coating. These provide additional protection and make cleaning easier. The filter is suitable not only as a UV filter but also as a permanent protective filter that reduces the ingress of dust and moisture.
HUC CPL
The NiSi HUC CPL Filter reduces reflections and glare by filtering polarized light reflected from non-metallic surfaces. Natural sunlight is partially polarized when it is reflected by electrons in air molecules, making it appear like a kind of haze.
The polarizing filter arranges and filters this directed polarized light perpendicular to the reflected light, absorbing a large portion of this light. This significantly reduces glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and increases the saturation of the sky and foliage.
