The NiSi Cinema 4x5.65" True Color ND-Vario - 1-5 stops (12mm) is a variable neutral density filter that allows for a light reduction of 0.3 to 1.5 or 1 to 5 stops. It darkens the entire image and allows filmmakers to work with a larger aperture or longer exposure times. The desired density can be precisely adjusted by simply turning the gear or using a large lens motor.
Made from high-quality material
The filter is made from high-quality aluminum and Schott optical glass, is 12 mm thick, and requires two filter slots in a compatible 4 x 5.65" matte box system, but can also be used without a matte box. It offers a neutral color and light reduction of 1 to 5 stops and is equipped with stop marks for precise control of the density. The package also includes a 15 mm lens motor holder and a soft case for safe storage.
