The NiSi Athena Prime 135mm T2.2 Full-Frame Cinema Lens, while being the largest lens in the Athena Prime series, still offers perfect focusing, micro-contrast, and color reproduction for a seamless experience across the entire series.

Distraction-Free Transitions

The 135mm Athena Prime has been carefully engineered to minimize "focus breathing" and provide filmmakers with a consistent field of view when focusing. This is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the visual narrative and creating smooth, distraction-free transitions that captivate the audience. Although this lens is larger, the positions of the iris and focus rings match those of the rest of the Athena range, allowing for familiar and efficient operation, especially during fast-paced shoots.

300° Rotatable Focus Ring

The lens features a 77mm filter thread and an 80mm barrel, consistent with the rest of the series, facilitating the use of a variety of lens accessories. The 300° rotatable focus ring with fluorescent focus scales enables precise and effortless focusing, which is essential for capturing those fleeting moments with razor-sharp clarity even in less than ideal lighting conditions.

Drop-in Filter Holder

The Athena Prime Lens series is equipped with a drop-in filter holder (only L-, RF-, and E-mount; PL-mount is equipped with a rear filter holder), offering filmmakers a more flexible workflow and greater creative control. This allows for the addition of ND filters, polarizers, or other filters to achieve the desired look without having to attach filters to the front of the lens. This feature also allows for quick and efficient filter changes, saving time and reducing the risk of lens damage.

Note: The NiSi Athena Prime lenses with E-mount and drop-in filters are not compatible with the Sony FX9 and DJI Ronin 4D. For these camera models, the NiSi Athena Prime lenses with E-mount without drop-in filters must be used!
