The NiSi 150x170mm Soft IR GND is a rectangular filter specially designed to darken certain areas of an image, such as a bright sky, while leaving other areas of the image exposed normally and unaffected.
Smooth transition
The filter is densest at the top and becomes lighter towards the center, with a smooth transition between the dense and light areas. A gray filter with a soft transition is particularly useful for taking pictures of trees, buildings, mountains and other objects that rise high into the sky.
True-to-life colors
The NiSi GND filters do not affect the coloration of the image, provide true-to-life colors and are made of high-quality optical Schott glass with multi-layer nano-coating to ensure the preservation of every detail.
Infrared coating
When using gray filters, the camera can become susceptible to infrared light, which can cause an unwanted red cast in photos with small apertures. The NiSi GND filters have an infrared protective coating that blocks infrared light through the lens, ensuring natural, true-to-life color reproduction.
