Nisi 100mm filter holder for Sony 14mm F1.8 GM without CPL
Our Sony 14mm F1.8 GM filter holder for 100mm filters is specifically designed for the Sony 14mm F1.8 GM system camera lens. At a 45° position of the filter holder, slight vignetting can be observed. Optimal for this ultra-wide-angle lens is the matching 150mm S6 holder, where no vignetting occurs.
This filter holder is designed for 100mm filters with a thickness of up to 2mm, giving you the freedom to use creative filter options.
An outstanding feature is the complete absence of vignetting at shooting angles of 90°. However, at a shooting angle of 45°, slight vignetting may occur. Thanks to the newly designed mounting system, installation is easy and secure. You can rotate the filter holder 360° to adjust the alignment to your needs.
Made from high-quality, alloyed aerospace aluminum, the filter holder is robust and durable. Please note that the polarization filter can only be used as a rectangular filter (100x100mm). With the NiSi Switch, you have the option to use the 100x100 polarizer independently of the graduated neutral density filter.
It is important to mention that due to the extreme wide angle of the Sony 14mm F1.8 GM lens, edge vignetting may occur. Nevertheless, this filter holder offers an excellent opportunity to expand photographic capabilities and improve image quality.
Note: Our adapter rings provide a reliable and secure connection between your filter holder/filter and your lens. Please tighten the adapter rings only so that your fingers can easily slip through – this ensures optimal hold while preserving the material. Tightening further is not necessary.
