This filter absorbs ultraviolet light and reduces the blue cast of daylight. In addition to minimizing unwanted blue tones, no additional colors or contrasts are added, and no exposure adjustment is required.
The filter absorbs 50% of UV light waves at 395 nanometers and gradually eliminates them before they enter the camera, restricting the light to the visible spectrum. This significantly reduces the bluish tint that can occur when shooting videos or photos in daylight and achieves accurate color reproduction throughout the image.
