NC UV filter with 99.3% light transmission and a 49 mm thread

The system is based on a NiSi NC-UV filter made from high-quality optical glass. According to the manufacturer, its multi-layer nano-coating achieves a light transmission of 99.3 per cent, reduces UV light and atmospheric haze, whilst also protecting the front element of the X100’s fixed lens. Dust, splashes and direct contact therefore first strike the filter rather than the lens. A hydrophobic and oleophobic coating supports use in changing conditions: water beads off more easily, whilst fingerprints and grease adhere less strongly and can be wiped off more easily. The front features a standard 49 mm filter thread. This allows you to add suitable polarising filters, neutral density filters or close-up filters, for example, without first unscrewing the NC-UV filter from the camera. This makes changing filters easier for landscape photography, long exposures and creative street photography.

Magnetic lens cap for travel and street photography
