The NiSi JetMag Pro VND Mist Creator was developed for demanding photo and video productions that require precise light control and creative image composition. The modular filter system combines a variable ND filter with an additional fixed ND filter and a black mist diffusion filter in a compact, magnetic design. This makes the system ideal for changing lighting conditions, cinematic looks, and flexible workflows on set or on the go.
Variable ND Control with True Color Technology
At the heart of the system is the NiSi JetMag Pro VND Mist Creator with a variable ND range of 1 to 5 f-stops. The integrated True Color ND-VARIO Pro Nano technology ensures neutral color reproduction without color casts, even in challenging lighting situations. Hard stops at both ends of the adjustment range reliably prevent over-adjustment and minimize the risk of X-patterns, while markings on both sides allow for quick and precise adjustment.
Extended ND Range and Cinematic Effects
When combined with the additional 4-stop FS-ND filter, light reduction can be extended to up to 9 f-stops. When used with the 1/8 Black Mist filter, the NiSi JetMag Pro VND Mist Creator creates a subtle soft-focus effect, reduces harsh digital sharpness, and produces gentle blooming in highlights. These features make the system particularly attractive for portraits, interviews, long exposures, and video shots with a wide aperture in bright ambient light.
