Nisi JetMag Pro Landscape ND Kit (MAXMAG)

The NiSi JetMag Pro Landscape ND Kit (MAXMAG) enables quick filter changes and precise exposure control thanks to a magnetic MAXMAG system. The ND filter kit is designed for landscape photographers and videographers who wish to create long exposures, controlled video shots and natural colour reproduction. Three full-spectrum ND filters with 3, 6 and 10 stops cover a range of lighting conditions, whilst the True Colour CPL reduces distracting reflections. This makes the set ideal for changing conditions whilst travelling, during outdoor shoots and when capturing challenging landscape subjects.

Full-spectrum ND filters for controlled long exposures

The NiSi JetMag Pro Landscape ND Kit (MAXMAG) combines the FS ND8 (3 stops), the FS ND64 (6 stops) and the FS ND1000 (10 stops). This allows the amount of incoming light to be precisely reduced depending on the subject and the desired effect. The ND8 is suitable for moderate exposure extensions, whilst the ND64 enables significantly longer shutter speeds. The ND1000 provides 10 f-stops of light reduction for pronounced long exposures, for example to visibly smooth out the movement of water or clouds. NiSi’s Full-Spectrum technology is designed to deliver neutral colour reproduction without any unwanted colour cast. This facilitates a consistent workflow, as the natural colour rendering of a scene is preserved across the different ND densities. Videographers also benefit from this light control when working with a specifically selected shutter speed in bright ambient light. For landscape photography and video recording, a graduated ND filter kit is therefore available that covers a range of shooting situations without the need for frequent switching between different filter systems.

True Colour CPL for reduced reflections and natural colours

In addition to the three ND filters, the NiSi JetMag Pro Landscape ND Kit (MAXMAG) includes a True Colour CPL. The polarising filter reduces unwanted reflections on water, glass and other non-metallic surfaces, thereby helping to produce a clearer rendering of landscape subjects. At the same time, the polarising technology used is designed to preserve the natural colour balance. Skies remain blue and vegetation retains its natural colour without the warm colour cast that can occur with conventional polarising filters. This is particularly useful when photographing lakes, coastlines, rivers, woodland landscapes or subjects with reflective surfaces. Landscape photographers can specifically control reflections, thereby making details beneath water surfaces or behind glass more visible. For videographers and content creators, this combination is also practical when shooting outdoor scenes with consistent colour reproduction. For example, travel videos or YouTube productions can be shot flexibly under changing light conditions using an ND filter and a CPL.

MAXMAG magnetic system for quick filter changes in outdoor use

The JetMag Pro MAXMAG system enables filters to be attached and removed quickly using magnets. A patented locking mechanism holds the filters securely in place, even in challenging outdoor conditions or when stacked. According to the manufacturer, up to two MAXMAG filters can be used simultaneously without causing vignetting. Colour-coded handles make identification easier: the ND filters have blue handles, whilst the CPL is fitted with a silver-coloured handle. This reduces the time taken to change filters, particularly in rapidly changing light conditions, and supports an efficient shooting workflow. The set includes magnetic front and rear covers with a locking mechanism to provide protection during transport and storage. The padded MAXMAG filter bag features five separate storage compartments with accordion-style dividers, a compound twill nylon construction and a velour-effect lining. It is also designed to be attached to a tripod. This keeps the entire filter system for landscape photography, travel and video organised and easily accessible when out and about.
