Perfect for marine photography
The filter darkens the entire image so that photographs can be taken with a larger aperture or a slower shutter speed. A longer exposure time or a larger aperture allows you to control the depth of field and bring movement into your images. The ND8 is often used to capture the flow of water in seascapes and to achieve larger apertures in outdoor flash photography.
Infrared coating
When using gray filters, the camera is susceptible to infrared light. To solve this problem, the filter has been provided with an IR protective coating that helps to eliminate the infrared light that passes through the lens and restore the natural colors. In addition, the filter is provided with a HUC coating that makes it even more weather-resistant.
