The 135mm Athena Prime has been carefully engineered to minimize "focus breathing" and provide filmmakers with a consistent field of view when focusing. The lens features a 77mm filter thread and an 80mm barrel, consistent with the rest of the series, facilitating the use of a variety of lens accessories. Drop-in Filter Holder

The Athena Prime Lens series is equipped with a drop-in filter holder (only L-, RF-, and E-mount; PL-mount is equipped with a rear filter holder), offering filmmakers a more flexible workflow and greater creative control. This allows for the addition of ND filters, polarizers, or other filters to achieve the desired look without having to attach filters to the front of the lens.
