The NiSi JetMag Pro Magnetic Filter System
Recently, NiSi introduced the JetMag Pro Magnetic Filter System, and I was immediately excited. I had the opportunity to test the Landscape Kit and use it on my photography trip to Iceland. This set includes a selection of ND filters as well as a polarizer, plus adapter rings for different lenses. But how does this first magnetic filter system from NiSi perform in practice?
The magnetic filter system
What makes this filter system special is the magnetic mechanism, which allows for lightning-fast attachment of filters to the lens. Instead of a traditional screw system, the filters simply attach magnetically. A practical marking provides additional security, ensuring that the filters stay firmly and securely on the lens. What stands out particularly positively is that multiple filters can be stacked on top of each other and securely connected as well. I especially liked this thoughtful mechanism, as it significantly simplifies handling the filters.
Note on use with wide-angle lenses: Thanks to the slim design, up to two filters can be used with a focal length of 15mm without causing any vignetting.*
Multicolored Handles for Easy Filter Identification
To quickly differentiate the filters, the handles are made in different colors. The ND filters have blue handles, the polarizer has a white handle, and other filter types are marked with additional colors. Additionally, the exact designation of each filter, such as ND64, ND1000, or True Color CPL, is noted on the side of each filter.

Quality of the Filters
The NiSi JetMag Pro Magnetic Filter System impresses with its high-quality craftsmanship. The ND filters are equipped with a Full Spectrum coating, which provides particularly high light transmission while ensuring color accuracy. This coating is also resistant to scratches and dirt, making the filters easy to clean.
The polarizer, the NiSi JetMag Pro True Color CPL, helps minimize unwanted reflections on non-metallic surfaces while simultaneously enhancing color saturation without distorting the natural color effect.

Conclusion
After nearly two weeks of intensive testing, I can only praise the benefits of the NiSi JetMag Pro magnetic filter system. The biggest advantage of this system is its ease of use: thanks to the magnetic system, the filters can be attached in no time and removed just as easily when needed. The well-designed locking mechanism ensures a secure fixation to the lens.
What impressed me the most is that NiSi offers various practical kits tailored to different photography needs—such as the Landscape Kit for landscape photography. If you don't need a graduated filter, this set will serve you well. The compact filter pouch provides enough space for the entire set, making it easy to fit into any camera backpack. I can definitely recommend the NiSi JetMag Pro magnetic filter system!
