The NiSi JetMag Pro Landscape Kit and Filter Holder Kit

Photography is constantly evolving, new techniques are constantly being developed, and time does not stand still in creative terms either. NiSi proves this with its JetMag Pro filter series.

Filters are often indispensable for taking that perfect photo, whether it's a sunset or rolling waves on the coast. But they sometimes have disadvantages: they take up a lot of space in your camera bag, and it can be frustrating to miss a moment because it takes too long to attach the filters. As a (landscape) photographer, you're probably familiar with this. This can be particularly annoying when travelling. But what if I told you that this is no longer necessary?

Handling

Thanks to the ultra-thin filter frame of the JetMag Pro filters and their stackable design, the set is surprisingly compact and lightweight. Even in the special bag, they still fit in your jacket pocket, ideal for on the go! But it's not just the format that impresses: the workflow is also accelerated.

The magnetic round filters can be attached to the included adapter ring in a flash and are just as easy to remove. Multiple filters can be combined and used on top of each other to achieve creative results. Simply screw the adapter ring onto the lens and the filter will automatically attach via the magnetic adapter rings. There's no need to worry about the filters falling off the lens, as the locking mechanism keeps everything firmly and securely in place. The filter can be removed again with a small twist of the handle. A real upgrade compared to screw-in filters!

NiSi has also thought about the handles: they are colour-coded so that you can see at a glance what type of filter it is. The designation is also engraved on the metal frame of the filter.

The JetMag Pro 82MAG Landscape Kit includes three ND filters (3-stop, 6-stop and 10-stop), a CPL filter, several adapter rings and sturdy metal caps to protect the filters. Additional filters, such as a black mist filter, are available separately. The filters can therefore be expanded as desired. All filters are made of high-quality glass, which enables razor-sharp images and minimises colour distortion and aberrations. The thin metal housing reduces vignetting without compromising stability. The nano-coating protects the glass from scratches and dirt, makes it water-repellent and easy to clean.

Magnetic Filter Holder

Would you like to use GND filters? That's no problem either. Simply combine the JetMag Pro Set with the magnetic 100 mm filter holder. This allows you to use the magnetic filters with GND filters as well.

I have been a fan of NiSi filters for years and usually use the V7 system. These filters take up a lot of space, but they are too good to leave at home. Although I am used to the V7 system, switching to the magnetic filter system was surprisingly easy, and I have to admit that it works much faster in use.
